I haven't seen this problem for quite a while. I guess it did get fixed by accident or by intention at some point. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1689653 Title: Firefo

I guess nobody else has this bug, oddly enough, and if it ever gets fixed, it will be by accident. Attached a screenshot. ** Attachment added: "Firefox at startup with a menu open." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1689653/+attachment/4924400/+files/Screenshot%20from%2020

It still happens occasionally. The menus are still there, but invisible. I wonder if it's a race condition involving loading of fonts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1689

I tried starting it as firefox --safe-mode mode instead. The problem still exists, although it looks a little different, presumably because the Menu Bar isn't enabled. It starts up without any space between the title bar and the tabs. Right clicking above the tab gives the pop-up menu but with Menu

Public bug reported: I'm using the Fvwm window manager. In the "Session and Startup" dialog, I've added Firefox as an "Application Autostart", using the simple command "firefox". This has previously worked fine, but since upgrading to Ubuntu 17.04, Firefox starts up with the Menu Bar missing (belo

It's probably bug #1630063. The system seems to lock up because the keyboard and/or mouse are plugged into the same USB hub as the printer. If you can plug them differently, only the printer will lock up. Running "lsusb" in a terminal will show which hub the devices are connected to. If you can sti

This is a nasty bug, since Firefox just fails without any error message after upgrading to version 22. I was affected myself and it took a while to diagnose. One thing puzzles me: why does google.com still work when a broken manual proxy is configured? -- You received this bug notification becaus
