I appreciate the effort in providing a solution to this problem.
But, as I came to know, the "make link" is not really missing from
Nautilus, but just disable by default.
All it takes is getting into Nautilus Preferences > Behavior (tab) and
check the box for "Link Creation". After that, "create

Clean install of Ubuntu 15.10 x64 on a T440p and middle button would not
scroll.
After having installed xserver-xorg-input-libinput middle button works
for scrolling (with track button). But I don't have the ability to tap-
to-click (only regular click makes a click).
