Aha, so that is the correct dialog to add a VPN connection. Unfortunately, because it's accessed from two different spots and gives no indication that it does indeed handle VPN until you start clicking things, it's very disorienting to arrive here. Perhaps the "VPN Connections" and "Edit Connectio

In fact, I can't reproduce it exactly this way 100% reliably. Sometimes it sticks around, usually it doesn't. Trying again just now, but logging out instead of rebooting, it stayed, but the System Settings show that there is no shortcut for Maximize Vertically (but the shortcut does work). Reboo
