I haven't experienced it since a while ago, many new versions were released
and I haven't re-experienced it. Please consider it fixed (at least for me).

yesterday I had recently upgraded 12.10 to 13.04 32 bit and I had it
working. Although I decided to move to a fresh 64bit install of 13.04.
After the fresh install of 13.04 64 bit and I am suffering the same
problem and network manager indicator ends up crashing when it tries to
connect.
