This is not consistent, but sometimes after suspending when i reconnect
the VPN menu items (using OpenVPN) are gone. I can launch the VPN by
going to Network Settings and toggling a particular VPN setting off and

Bizarre that something of this kind got through testing and, after all
this time, is unfixed...

This has been a problem for me in last several releases; attaching a
screen shot -- can't read the file names in left column, which also
won't expand.

Upside is I'm learning a lot about how rsync works!

I just tried a backup and restore, encrypting the backup. Failed again
on the restore, in exactly the same way as far as I can tell.
At this point I simply use Grsync to run a complete backup to an
encrypted drive. It works well enough.

Just upgraded to 13.10, and the power indicator in the menu bar has an
additional item: the mouse battery indicator (in addition to the regular
laptop batter indicator). It is "stuck" on "(estimating...)" and has
been since I started the system. A reboot did not solve it.

This happens periodically: the drop-down network menu at the top of the
screen stops working. For example, selecting Disconnect (or Connect) to
ethernet or wireless has no effect. I have to run the Network app to get
anything done.
I can restore functionality by logging out
I would hope this gets assigned a high priority. To be unable to restore
a backup is not a trivial bug.
