only problem though, once in a while the boost falls and i have to boost
up again and again!!
if that's fixed then that't it!!

Fixed internal mic problem on my Dell!!
I don't know if that aplies here but the problem was in alsamixer!!
I just hit f5 and boosted the microphone 100%( it was 0 by default)!
And oh my gosh that was NOT OBVIOUS at ALL!!
After so much time trying to fix it, finally hap
bug fixed...
thanks to this:

just hit in a terminal:
alsamixer
and then press f4 or f5 and boost the microphones all the way up
Simple as that!!
