0.99.6 has been in Debian/Ubuntu long ago. Yeah usually no one cares
about it when it's fixed.

Maybe it's because of dpkg, apt, bad connection, unexpected interrupts,
etc. This error happens with any packages in the error messages but
it's never by bugs from those packages.

Don't expect this issue be fixed.
FYI, only the upstream (Naver Corp) can fix it, because "fixing" it by
others without changing the font name is a clear violation of SIL OFL
license. And Naver doesn't care about this font and is focusing on other
"BarunGothic" font.

Correction: that oss-desktop-korean mail [1] is not only intended for
Debian, though I created that group and also I am a Debian developer.
(Actually Debian doesn't have distribution-wide custom font config.) I
already filed the change request to the upstream (fontconfig) [2].

It's not a "bug" of this font. PUA can be used in any way by any fonts.
This problem is because Un-fonts precedes Font Awesome in your

FYI, Romaja input is not for practical use by design. Your "patch" will
break usual Hangul input. In the 2-bul or 3-bul Hangul IMEs, pressing
space just works as you have seen; it just inputs space after the
precomposed Hangul character. Space is never used for explicit commit
key like what it does
Please report to ibus or lyx. This is not ibus-hangul specific.
Sometimes applications prevent IME from working, or IME can break
specific applications. But ibus-hangul can't break apps.

Actually it's a feature and intentional. All Korean fonts have this
glyph as vertically centered dots. Ellipsis in Korean language is
vertically centered dots.
There is U+22EF MIDLINE HORIZONTAL ELLIPSIS, but this is for
