Ok so now I've updated my drivers and the sound works on my Ubuntu OS.
Noticing one thing when I startup though I have to sudo modprobe snd-
hda-intel to get the sound working as on startup I have a dummy output.
I tried the same on Linux OS however, the sound still crackles...?
