The bug has been open for more than a month now. Can anyone tell me
anything ? A fix ? a workaround ? Tell me my card is completely useless
on Ubuntu and it's AMD's fault ?

I have tried installing both proprietary drivers in "software and
updates" and each time the driver doesn't work properly.
The bins are not in the path, and trying to run the bins gives me the

Hi,
I have a wireless access point that is at most 2 meters away. It keeps
disconnecting with no apparent reason. I read somewhere that setting a
static ip should help with the problem, but the problem seems pretty
persistent.

The behavior I described in this bug stopped a long time ago (the bug is
more than a year old) . Sorry I can't remember if it got fixed or I
managed to find a work around.
