Thanks. Those video files seem to have bogus frame rate information.
Depending on the player they are reported as 25.415FPS, 26.318FPS,
120FPS or 3FPS. But they all appear to be low frame rate so I'm
guessing they're close to 24-30FPS. It would be helpful to record a

Toggling the authentication view and the lockscreen works now using
Escape.
Tested with both animation enabled and disabled.

I installed all other updates, except libglapi-mesa update from
24.0.9-0ubuntu0.3
to 24.2.8-1ubuntu1~24.04.1, because that update not only was unchecked by
default,
but disabled, so I wasn't able to install it via the GUI.
Can/should I try it on the command line?

I believe this is caused by the snippets plugin. When I disable it, I no
longer get a crash on exit. Unfortunately, it looks like the snippets
plugin was removed in later versions.

Btw, did you upgrade any other packages?
You need to upgrade all installed mesa packages, or things will go bad.
The dependencies are a bit wrong right now, libgl1-mesa-dri should at
least have libgbm1 match the same version. This will be fixed in a
future update.
