I tested this and made sure that my Downloads and Pictures are regular
directories, too
In addition, it seems to affect only Lubuntu as I tested on Ubuntu
Unity, and it was fine
And just to re-iterate that my main/host PC runs on Tuxedo OS 4, based
on Ubuntu 24.04 and KDE Neon, and its fine.

I also run Noble (continuously upgraded since 16.04), have the same file, same
contents.
Same error gets reported by logwatch (which was only enabled recently, so
unsure if this also affects previous versions of Ubuntu).

This issue also affects my Thinkpad E14 Gen 2 since the release of Kubuntu

distorted display on 4K TV with xserver-xorg-video-in
This morning the display wasn't garbled. I can't find any change in
dpkg.log or elsewhere, which is confusing. I was hoping this could be
100% reproduced, now we are at maybe 98%.
