constantly, such as performance info in the top bar or overlays?
Please also test without 'plank' and 'firefox' running. Because Xorg's
high-ish CPU usage suggests the problem is originating from an
application.

this case. And it appears there is no Nvidia kernel driver being loaded.

The fix is seemingly in Xorg but it's a complex piece of software with
multiple packages and dependencies. Trying to build Xorg yourself will
almost certainly create bigger bugs than this one.
I expect jammy will get Xorg 21.1.4 or later within weeks or months but
I don't know the timeframe.
