Experiencing something like this on 22.04 LTS after upgrading from 20.04
LTS - I'm running KUbuntu.
So far I'm seeing a direct relation with chrome browser (Version
104.something, supposedly the latest).
As soon as I invoke Chrome, after a short while keyboard responsiveness
becomes extremely lag
I tried to use ubuntu-bug to report the lock up of chrome during the
ubuntu-bug reporting process but ubuntu-bug won't allow a report on
ubuntu-bug itself.

This problem is an Ubuntu/snap packaging issue. FF and Thunderbird both
allow the loading of PKCS11 modules as do other programs. But the snap
has not packaged these.

Deleting .cache/gstreamer-1.0 doesn't change anything. The bug you mention also
seems to be a different one because I get a video, it is just very choppy.
