The log message in comment #2 is bug 1965673. I'm seeing it in
everyone's logs today, including my own. And without using password
dialogs. So unassigning ibus here. Use bug 1965673 for that.

"failed to enable link training" would probably be a kernel error logged
by the graphics driver. So that may be a kernel/driver bug, or if you
use an external monitor then maybe a cable problem.
Next time the problem happens please reboot as usual and then:
