In Jammy Jellyfish (Thunderbird 91.5.0, GNOME Shell 40.5) when this bug
occurs it also cause the Thunderbird window to not display at all. The
application dock shows that it is open, but there is no way to get to it
unless you right click the dock icon and open a new window.

Has exactly the same model (Dell Inspiron 24 5000 All-in-one, aka
Inspiron 5400 All-in-one). Also "aplay -l" showed the card is "ALC274
Analog". Finally got the sound working in Ubuntu 20.04, by appending the
following line

After the FF 96 upgrade I can't distinguish focused and unfocused FF
windows from their client side decorations.
Previously the distinction was subtle, but not impossible.
The attached image shows two windows, the one on the left has focus.
The only way you can tell this is

portability/architecture issues.
