the metainfo.its file shipped with some appstream{,-glib} binary should
be considered a temporary fix, i.e. the file will sooner or later
replace the older equivalent in the gettext package.

I verified your sample file works with totem-pl-parser 3.26.5-5ubuntu1
on Ubuntu 21.10 (development). That version of totem-pl-parser is also
available in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS so it probably works there too.

This bug still exists in Kubuntu 20.04. Samsung Xcover B2710 isn't connected
properly.
Long ago I fixed it on Ubuntu 12.04 by "DisableSwitching=1" and forgot about
it. Now found this bugreport once again and old fix still works.
If my help is needed in debugging of this issue, I'm ready.
