Yep this got me today.
Unable to login due to YubiKey plugged in to the system. GDM sees the
key and wants me to use it to authenticate, it's not set up for that and
I had to pull the YubiKey to be able to log in with username & password.
Poking around in /etc/pam.d/ I found there's a few options

The issue of #3 is a known issue in the pulesaudio.
About the hdmi audio can't be detected, maybe it is the graphic driver's
issue, do you install the nvidia-drivers after upgrading?

I'm also affected by this bug when using Thunderbird but I've found a
workaround: Unpin Thunderbird (right click on the icon and "Remove from
Favorites"). After that you can still start Thunderbird manually, it
won't trigger this bug any more when it is just a normal application
(and not a "favori
I finally got my head "out of a place the sun don't shine" and copied
and pasted this file to another one and the new one works fine; I should
