Ubuntu 18.04 using Wayland: The monitor connected to the AST2500 VGA has
no signal during and after login. "xrandr -q" shows both devices are

The issue was in hardware, the "front audio" extension to the front of
the case was aparently damaged, I just unplugged it and now everything
is perfect

which is quite peculiar. Maybe it could be related to me running a GNOME
