Having /usr/lib/thunderbird/dictionaries be a symlink to
/usr/share/hunspell was an elegant way to reuse dictionaries installed
system-wide instead of re-packaging them specifically for thunderbird.
It's a bit of a shame to loose this functionality, but I understand this
Setting `DICPATH` to `/usr/share/hunspell` works indeed, thanks for the
tip Kris.
I understand the startup performance concern, but I think the trade off
is worth it, at least for users of the Ubuntu packages who are used to
having access to system dictionaries without the need to install
addition
Given that there is indeed a way to load external dictionaries (the `DICPATH`
environment variable), I'm closing this bug.

Cup over usb does not print
I tried here to reproduce it with 390, and 435, but I'm afraid that
automatic login on both worked with me just fine. I don't see anything
particularly out of place in the journal log either.
So I've asked Alberto (our NVidia maintainer) if he can take a look;

Bug still exists on Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS, Kernel 4.14.140. Found when
looking for what was causing xrandr to reset screens to full brightness
and gamma. Even if `colord` isn't culprit, life is easier with less spam
in journalctl.
Ignore extra `s` in `fails` below (line wrap off) for bug report:

Same issue for me on Ubuntu 19.10 and Wayland. Laptop screen (primary)
is 1080p at 100%, one external display is 4K at 200%. Opening Chrome and
moving it to the external display has no effect: it stays super small.

/usr/bin/evince:11:strstr:TextSelectionPainter::hasGlyphL
It's not clear to me how this can be a cable or monitor issue when it
only happens in Xorg and it happens much more frequently when one
particular app is running (see comment #4). Having said that, I will try
to find a spare HDMI cable and test.
