I'm not sure if this is the same bug or a different one. I am using ubuntu
14.04 LTS. I have a directory containing other directories. They sort correctly
with "ls -l". But they show up in Nautilus as:

smbclient -L, "gio mount smb://server/share ', even just specifying
smb://server/share in the location bar in Nautilus works just like you

I indeed think interacting with a server that has disabled SMB1 entirely

@Sebastien, Hi! No, nothing. I've just tested rebooting, and launching
the gnome-software just after the reboot. The only app that auto-lauches
on start before the gnome-software is guake, but I don't think it's
related.

My post concerns Ubuntu Disco. I'm guessing Win10 sees the SMBv1
connection, rejects it outright, and never gets to the protocol
negotiation phase.
As I said this only involves the gvfsd-smb-browse process: Nautilus >
Other Locations > Windows Network > Workgroup

libreoffice*". That pulls in all kinds of packages and extensions for
libreoffice including the ones you've described.

If you're asking if I have the same problem when logging in with a
different user, then "yes" it also doesn't work when logging in with a
2nd account that's on my machine. That 2nd account existed before the
upgrade to 18.04.
