After going on the #radeon channel on Freenode, we narrowed the problem

Hey All. I run into troubles with sound also on my Asus UX331UAL (EG022T)
laptop with ALC294 sound card. I run Kubuntu 18.04.
I confirmed that after updating kernel to v4.19.19 Sound works well. Updated

Thank you for your bug report, upstream changed the default for icons
but Ubuntu decided to stay on a smaller size by default, it's a setting
easy to change if you prefer bigger icons though

That's fixed in the current version, when changing directory the
rectangle for the previous one is removed directly

I open gnome-calculator in basic mode.
Remember: I have locale LC_NUMERIC=it_IT.UTF-8 where decimal separator is comma.
I perform all following operations using the numeric keypad.
i press the canc/dot key (bottom right) and then '5*7'
in the entry box i see '.5x7'
i hit enter

modify the mtime here (on xenial or newer), do you still get that issue?
If so could you give some details on what the dir is (layourt,
filesystem) and how you move it?

Indeed, that's minor though and the desktop view has beeen deprecated in
the current version, let's close that one it doesn't seem like something
we are going to invest into fixing now
