After poking around Google to find a solution, I came here, and I'm
still stumped. I just upgraded to 18.04 last night, and I tried GCC to
swap my mouse/touchpad buttons back to lefty-normal, and that failed. So

When switching from HDMI audio to internal speakers, the sound stops
working altogether. The only way to prevent this is to enter the
settings while still connected to HDMI and select "Speakers - Built in
audio" as the output. Disconnecting from HDMI without doing this stops

completely so that power button was only way out.

Just tested this on Wayland and the situation seems slightly better. The
same test (just the terminal, no extensions) is about 2-3% of CPU usage
(compares with less than 1% for compiz) and when I turn on extensions
(particularly system monitor) it goes to 5-7%. Not great but better.

Hi,
I think this problem can be extended for all bluetooth devices. I also
paired an android (OS 7.0) phone, after sleep mode you can not reconnect
the phone any more.
This issue is related with ubuntu bionic 18.04 (this problem was not
present in ubuntu 16.04).
