I have a different issue.
it happened in Arch linux, Manjaro, Ubuntu 18.04 beta. if I didn't
install the nvidia 390 driver, everything run smooth, after I installed
nvidia 390 driver, I have no problem with GUI, however, the system
doesn't turn off, restart itself properly. my monitor goes into sl

I'm unable to increase the ulimit on my system. I've added the new size
in limits.conf but that does not help. Running the command manually
gives me a permissions error with files open. At this point the upgrade

After installing latest Kubuntu 18.04 daily ISO and upgrading to latest
packages, I've had problems with suspend functionality:
0- Kubuntu installed correctly.
1- From Plasma, choose "Suspend to memory". Screen goes off.

I just noticed that the crash leaves a $HOME/core file:

I also confirm that dreamwalker's solution worked for me. My setup is
Dell Precission 5520 with two external Dell displays. To be able to drag
the monitors, it is necessary that Built-in display is ON at least until
before pressing Apply button.

Usually I use my Wacom Intuos CTH-450/K with Gimp. Now I tested it with Krita.
Seems that all functions of the board are supported, including varying line
width with varying stylus pressure. But only after I installed gnome, see above

@venturia: The issue of not being able to start an executable from
within nautilus has nothing to do with this deja-dup failure. That
