I found a workaround for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS:
(1) Open "Network connections" ("nm-connection-editor" from command line)
(2) Try to figure out which "Ethernet" connection is iPad
(3) Select the iPad and click "Edit"
(4) On "General" tab, uncheck "Automatically connect to this network when it is
avail
I found that stopping the gnome-keyring process resulted in the PC
running normally again until the screen lock came on. This resulted in
been unable to unlock the screen again requiring dropping to a command
line via Ctrl + Alt + F1 to allow a reboot.

I worked around this for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS users of the GNOME 3 Staging
PPA by having gnome-documents not recommend gir1.2-lokdocview-0.1 since
that package depends on libreoffice-gtk3.

first run crashed when i asked to view the report
second run was still pushing out dots after 15 min so I killed it

I have the same laptop, Ubuntu 16.04 also and the same pitch/whistle
static noise in headphones (it doesn't matter whether my sound volume is
muted or not). The noise started approximately after login screen

When I reported the bug, I could only select xorg when reporting a display

I experience this frequently on the Pro 5 as well. Sometimes when I pull
down indicator for mobile it shows 3G or 4G, but shows no connection on
the top indicator bar (see attached image).

I can't see there is any PCI device from the alsainfo.txt log, if the kernel
can't see the device it could be related to something that is below the kernel
level. You can also upload the output of 'lspci -vvnn' for us to check.
Could you also check if there are settings in the BIOS about audio? P
