39.0+build5-0ubuntu0.12.04.2.
On Mint13 32-bit xfce, based on Ubuntu 12.04.5 32-bit, the reported problem
seems to have been solved.
Firefox 39.0 started up without crashing.

I could not reproduce that bug using the live CD for 1 hour. Given that
I'm not using unity, given that the bug happens in a way that is very
unpredictable (sometimes 2-3 times in a row in 10 minutes, then nothing
for several days), this does not mean that this bug is fixed. I'm not
even sure that

After an uptime of 6d1h /usr/lib/policykit-1/polkitd --no-debug has a
CPU time of 6:32:57 and memory usage of 1.3GiB (started around 7MiB at
boot).
After a reboot, reading smem every 10 minutes, it appears to be growing
1609MiB/10min. +-5MiB consistently.

Adobe 9.5.5 is working correctly in Ubuntu 14.04, 12.04, and SolydK/Debian8:

This sounds similar to bug 1450396. Could you try and add this line
ethtool -s eth0 wol g
to /etc/rc.local before the "exit 0", reboot, and see if that helps?

I have same issue with Macbook 4,1 (Early 2008).
I noticed same symptom as Martin (activated -> unmanaged after resume)
and looking network manager code (do_sleep_wake() in nm-manager.c) it
seems to be related to wake on lan stuff.
So, I modified nm_platform_link_get_wake_on_lan() to always retur

ah, glad I found this. Already wasted a few hours trying to figure why
WebGL would not work in this version. Is there a workaround or have to
use a different version?
Why not just disable it by default but
has nv304 support been depricated in xorg 1.15.1 ?
because xorg 1.12 on another distro will work in this machine
