A workaround that works for me under Unity is to double-click the title-
bar - which causes the window to maximise. In its maximised state it
has the three window operator buttons (close, minimise,
restore/maximise). Hit restore and the window will pop back to its
previous size, but now be resiza
Workaround found! If the machine has been put into hibernate, consequent
suspends can be resumed.
To reproduce:
1. Hibernate ("sudo pm-hibernate")
2. Wake up.
3. Suspend ("sudo pm-suspend" or close lid)
4. Machine now wakes up when power button is pressed.

add "sudo killall pulseaudio" to /ect/rc.local
