Kwin has, happily, not crashed with the mesa packages in
ppa:tjaalton/test with a full Kubuntu 14.04 and logging in with the

The upgrade was from the previous version, i.e. something like 13.10,

So today I made a fresh install on another computer (using the last Trusty Thar
iso). And .. it works (my 2 other upgraded computers are not by the way).
So it means, that something get wrong while upgrading I think.

As the title suggests, Unity multitouch gestures don't work if the mouse
pointer
is on a Qt5 window, for example QtCreator. It doesn't even matter if the window
is focused or not.

I just tried Ubuntu 12.04.4 from a USB stick to compare it to 14.04.
On 12.04 the launcher does slide in beautifully and in sync with the fingers
when swiping with 4 fingers from left to right on a touchpad.
The problem:
On 14.04 the launcher suddenly appears, giving no hint
