In general not using gnome-vfs at all is what makes most sense ;-)
gio - if anything - but surely KIO uses paths into a FUSE mount just like GNOME
does - making that mostly pointless ?

I tried to run the Java application "SweetHome3D" (available in the Software
Center) but it won't load. It says "java.lang.R
Sorry for the delay. I have not encountered this bug since I filed the report,
even though I did not do anything to fix this. So I'd say it is unrelated to
the upgrade.
BTW, it was Saucy I upgraded to, not Raring. I have no idea why it logged
