I've a problem with hplip on ubuntu 13.04.
My printer HP Deskjet d4260 don't print but the test print page is OK.
I installed hplip with "logithèque software center canonical", no print.
After I uninstalled hplip-gui and I installed the latest version with command
"sh
I can confirm this bug also happens on a fresh install of Kubuntu 13.04
using a custom COMPAL notebook with Intel i915GM graphics driver.
To me the workaround is just press Fn+F5 (brightness up) when the screen
goes blank, then the login screen appears normally.

There is some code upstream that I am testing now that probably solves
this problem, and possibly the reconnection issue too.
