On a side note, when using nmcli I see all the connections, and can also
establish/unestablish them. So I assume it is definitely a problem with
nm-applet and not NetworkManager itself.

Still broken. Fresh install 12.04.2. Just looking at the logs using the
GUI log viewer is nearly impossible as I cannot resize the log viewer
window. This finally got me annoyed enough to add to this mega bug
report.
The border appears to be 1px wide. Please fix this. It is an LTS release
afterall
I've tried disabling probe_mask for HDMI. It results in no sound device
being available in aplay. Interestingly BIOS during boot is able to
detect this codec and play a boot-up tune.

I discovered this bug today after installing elinks into a Kubuntu 13.04
system. Apparently elinks wants to access the keyring. It does not
keep the program from loading or working, but it does throw a warning
every time the program is opened from the command prompt.

For the maas SRU to precise in 1109283, these dependencies need to be
promoted to main. This has an impact on security maintenance for
precise. Since this removes the cobbler code copy from the maas package
in precise, I am ok with the tradeoff.

Since eMp3Gain ist more or less dead upstream, I don't expect anything to
happen... I suggest everyone to try the new build from Saucy, which is built
against a fresh LCL which shouldn't have this problem and also provides a
(working) Qt4 build of the package.
That should solve the issue.

After an update, something went a little kaka and the previously
reported problem resurfaced.
All I had to do was follow my own previous post and after I re-installed
the "linux-headers-XXX" everything went back to normal.
