I just took a look through the help for gedit, which still lists the
keyboard shortcut for Search (Find) as 'Ctrl+F', and then was looking
through some of the other keyboard shortcuts, and in the Edit menu the

Okay, this very day (and I mean literally within the past 24-36 hours,
most likely the lesser since it was less than 24 hours ago I last
updated) the keyboard shortcut for the Search (Find) function in gedit
has been changed. It is no longer Ctrl+F like it always has been. I
Ubuntu doesn't support Medibuntu.
I believe the "not really official but vaguely recommended" way to

It is a desktop. The speaker is a Creative 4.1, has two jacks, 1 gree(the front
speakers) and 1 black(the rear speakers amd the subwoofer).

Fixed it. It was a problem with the alsa-base.conf file. Re-created it
and edited some information in the model (mb55) and now have sound in
both headphones and speakers.

lightdm, maybe the maintainer can debug it and fix it with a small

I had the same problem.
The problem was that I've added alternative for python and pyversions
does not followed both symbolic link.
To check this please run:
