Each time I lose internet connection, the top-left system wheel goes red
and the "Online accounts..." is also red. I lose the authorization for
Google Accounts, and I have to grant access each time I go online again.

Recently there was an update of the deja-dup package, and since then, I have
found that the scheduling is not working anymore.
I mean that I have turned on "Automatic Backup", and set a backup every day.
This has always worked, since the installation of Ubuntu 12.04 last Apr
Does it crash no matter which file format you choose for saving?
Yes.
I tried what suggested in Bug #1049179 but no thing change. I even
changed the gtk theme under KDE.

The component field of this report says Radeon. It's unlikely for fglrx
and radeon to be affected by one and the same bug. It's possible that
fglrx has a similar bug though.

precise repo, and it did not help.
