Hi! To better help you with the problem, please answer the following questions
aside from what's asked above:
1. How did you set the screensaver and what are the settings?
2. Do you have a specific screensaver to be activated?
I have my machine set to have blank screen after an hour of idleness.
I can't confirm if this is a bug as I didn't upgrade from Karmic. I did a fresh
install instead.
Have you tried reinstalling the screensaver in Synaptic?

I'm not sure if this is a bug or a conflict between my applications. I
noticed that Nautilus does not open properly executable text files. It
supposed to be executed, but instead gedit opens it automatically.
I have set the option to "Ask each t
