Hi, thanks for writing back, Attached is the gpm.log file you required. Please consider that I just tried pressing Fn+F1 (which should hibernate my laptop) and now it does not work: which is correct, since I disabled it from the Preferences > Power management menu. So the bug is probably gone.

I'm sorry to report the bug is not fixed in Hardy (neither it was in Gutsy): Evince still defaults all printers to "US Letter", even if I set the default paper size to A4 (by using CUPS). (Note: my /etc/papersize is set to "letter", but I tried to write "a4" inside and nothing changed.) -- evinc
