[Bug 39087] Sound Preview function requires vorbis-tools installed by default

2006-06-15 Thread z_diver
Public bug reported: Both Nautilus and Konqueror are able to provide sound previews. These will not work with Dapper's ogg sample files unless ogg123 is installed. Expected behavior: You hover the cursor over kalimoto-miracle-lemon.ogg in the example content and hear the song play immediatly.

[Bug 47281] Gnome themes are being built flat(missing gtk, metacity directories)

2006-05-29 Thread z_diver
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork Today's update to ubuntu-artwork_27_ included the new Dapper themes from the art team but they are not working due to missing and metacity-1 gtk-2.0 directories. Somehow they seem to be built flat and everything is just piled into the top

It also appears the nuoveXT-1.6 icon set is missing from the package. This set is needed to complete the GrayXT and industrialXT themes. For some reason the latter doesn't show up at all in Theme Preferences. -- Gnome themes are being built flat(missing gtk, metacity directories) https://launchp

[Bug 63108] LegacyHuman Theme has not been Cairo-ified

2006-09-29 Thread z_diver
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork The LegacyHuman theme is not as clean as it was in Dapper or Breezy anymore. Now it has a light colored line between the titlebar and the gtk+ theme on all unselected windows. I'm pretty sure the reason is the original LegacyHuman theme w

[Bug 63114] Human progress bar shading does not line up properly

2006-09-30 Thread z_diver
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork Admitidly this is a minor bug, but it's also one that has already been addressed by Richard Stellingwerf on the 8th of September when he submitted a new design for the progressbar in human. I've posted a screenshot of the current Edgy knot

[Bug 63119] Human missing Trash, Network, Computer, Open Folder SVGs

2006-09-30 Thread z_diver
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork As the title states, the Human icon theme in Edgy knot3 is still not showing a few key SVG icons (although many ARE in the Human/scalable directory). I have noticed the Trash, Trash Full, Network, Computer, Open Folder and CD/DVD icons do

I created a new port from the Clearlooks engine using the original LegacyHuman colors where possible. Below is a screenshot of the new look and the modified gtkrc is attached. I haven't tested it thoroughly but it seems to be working fine so far. http://lagunadata.com/ubuntu/legacyhuman-cairo.pn

Well, it's not implemented yet but then I don't honestly know what work has been submitted. For reference purposes I'll quote Richard's original post to the ubuntu-art list on this topic. I hope he doesn't mind but it might prove useful before we go further with this. -

You have been subscribed to a public bug: The only real way to create a shortcut to a folder that I have found is to browse to the folder in nautilus and right click it and create a shortcut there, then drag that to the folder you want it in. This is a huge usability issue for many users. I thin
