I know almost nothing about this, but I am seeing the same error in
xmoto. I try to quit and it hangs until I kill it with -9. Strace
reveals a futex hang. 100% reproducible. Hardy Heron with fglrx.

Ok, thanks. I had read through the comments and looked at the other bug
report but it said that it was specific to the Toshiba Satellite A75,
not the computer I have. Also, that bug specifies that it happens all
the time. I never see a freeze except when I am using sound juicer to
rip cds. I will t
It used to. Now it just fails with this error:

The interesting thing is that this is just is a media player set up as a
mass storage device. No camera stuff should be loading.

I got the crash again when I did this. I think the crash happens once a
reboot. Iran the command before and after inserting my media player
(note the problem is that it is not a camera) and here is the diff:

I am able to search for videos in totem and see the related videos, but I
cannot play any of them. When I attempt to play a video, nothing happens and

Physical removal is Gnome Bug# 346434.
It seems RB is attempting to move the tracks to a trash can on the ipod
and failing because there is no trash on the ipod. The fail state is to
leave the file there. I think the file should just be deleted.

I added a ton of information about this problem directly on the gnome
bug report. Thought it would copy here, no such luck. Anyway if you look
there you can find dumps of the shuffle data structure. This should
allow fixing of the problem even for those without shuffles.

As of r4978 RB svn seems to have support for shuffles. Could someone
verify this and see if a patch can be backported to feisty in time for
the final release?

First, if you have songs on the ipod and delete any, they still play in
the shuffle. You have to add a song for the others to be flushed.
Second, when you delete songs off of the ipod, the files remain on the

removing both work properly. Problem 2 is still existent but on looking
at the libgpod docs, it is not a bug but it simply overwrites files as
needed. Problem 3 is still there but that I cannot fix.
