+1 for not working under 9.04 Jaunty. I get "Couldn't start playback,
Cannot resolve hostname" for streams and podcasts. I have the proxy set
up correctly, and if I view the properties of the stream and paste the
URL into other apps, they can reach that destination (e.g. curl, Amarok,

I built from source and this did not resolve the issue from me. If I
enable crossfade playback (which by the way I have to quit and relaunch
for the setting to take effect) I get no error popping up when trying to
play a stream, but I get a stready stream of "rb-player-gst-
xfade.c:2601: not playin
