When going to Places->Connect To Server and adding a mapped network
- driver from my Windows share (only one tried) and later clicking on it
+ drive from my Windows share (only one tried) and later clicking on it
from Places->[mapped drive] it just opens to my Home fold
I just upgraded to Hardy alpha, I'm still having the same problem.

Heres what I'm going to try, booting off my 7.10 live cd and setting up
samba on it and testing if that works. If it does, then its something I
configured wrong and we can close this bug report.

Well, all I did was go to Places->Connect to server. I chose Windows
share. For the server I put in the name of my 2nd pc on the network and
for the share I put the name of the shared folder. After that, when I go
the Places and click on the new menu item for it, it takes me to my Home
folder inste
It works right off the live cd, so I'm pretty sure its my configuration.
