I really hope that this bug is fixed for Lucid by Ubuntu people as it
will probably not be fixed by evince folks in time for lucid.
This is a really annoying bug and one that really brings down the
usefulness of evince a lot.

I was having a lot of problems with my graphics system.
And i was getting this error.
the problem (or one of the problems) was that compiz was not starting up.
so i added compiz --replace in list of startup applications and now everything
works well.
So the bug probably exists, but i cant reprodu

I would also recommend elevating the importance of this bug from Low to
Medium. Try testing it on a computer with 512mb memory or less and see
what happens. In comparison the minimum system requirements are set to
384mb RAM (see

the prob with renkoo is that it is not suited for multiuser chat like irc etc
and currently empathy uses the same theme for both single and multi user chat
a bug for separate themes for separate modes has been requested upstream (by me
only iirc)

Similar bugs have been filed for empathy, gnome terminal,etc and all
have been rejected as they go against GNOME HIG.
There is a nice page on current tab implementations in various gnome
programs on gnome live.
i also feel a standard should be maintained and hence if ctrl+tab is to

Please dont change the behaviour of instantaneous change when clicking
on the wallpaper and even if u still introduce a delay make it not more
than 1 sec so that we never even realize a delay exists.
if the concern is that current wallpaper is lost then maybe a apply
changes button could be presen

My use case, when i have a slightly corrupted CD/DVD/usb disk and i am copying
a big video file from it to my pc, on windows it gets stuck in middle gives
error and i cant view any of it.
In ubuntu, atleast some part of the file is copied and then err
brilliant idea! maybe there could be some bckground text telling people
to add files here or something.

maybe the best way is to do it intlligently
if user explicitly cancels then dont leave copy
but if it runs into a error or something like that then do leave a copy with a
message stating this if necessary.

Does the playlist work on the device if you remove all the paths and
just keep the file names?
NO.
But adding file:///SDCard in front of the file path of the playlist
produced by RB does work.
