I just tried burning a win 10 64bit iso I downloaded in ubuntu.
It is stuck on creating checksum for over 30 minutes now.
So is the disk now destroyed?
I had right clicked the iso and told it to burn the iso.
On another forum, someone said Brasero is no good, use xfburn, so I installed
it and mig
adding, I just hit cancel, the tray went in and out several times, then
it claims a successful burn,
who knows, but here it is.

the mouse will flash on and off and the numlock key will flash on

wmware console mouse movement drops mouse at screen edge
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/460531
You
this fixes the problem for me, mouse is now working
create this file using the bin/bash text.
give it a name like VMlaunch.sh
make it executable
run it and it loads the VMware machine
#!/bin/bash
# Call VMWare Serve
seriously slows down the boot for me, takes 4 times longer than karmic to get
to the desktop.
I have to select 'logout anyway' or it locks up the screen. The mouse moves and
you can select cntrl-alt-F1 thru F4 etc... to get to a console login prompt.
It is really really slow to boot up with Luci
