I too can confirm this. All that happens when you click an apt url is
that it opens up a dialog box asking which application to use to open
it. This is with the released version of ubuntu.

Evolution doesn't do this consistantly, it only happens every so often
but it tends to freeze as it is scanning my IMAP folders. I have quite a
large amount of email seeing as I don't delete anything but it's only

I was subscribed to. The problem arose when it was trying to check too
many folders with large contents. I think it was just a performance
issue.
