Hi guys!
i think you have a serious problem with integration of empathy and "online
account" packege in ubuntu.
so, to be able to connect to my facebook account, i had to remove the "ubuntu
online" accounts by running command:
"sudo apt-get purge gnome-control-center-signon"
hello!
back in my days of 13.10, after some reinstalls, i managed to connect to all my
acconts, yahoo, gmail, facebook.
now, in 14.04, i have had problems with gmail, it tried to connect but after
awile, it requires authorization.
in this moment, it seems that it work okay. but for how long?

now, the empathy does not connect to gtalk account, as i told in the other bug.

it does not show the yahoo contacts avatar even in 12.04. sometimes it shows
but most of the time, it does not.
i can not reproduce a pattern.
it seems strange that today, it does not connect to any account.

today, i have got an update but problem still remain.
i can not connect to yahoo.
i have deleted the accounts and tried to create them back. but unfortunately, i
can not setup the yahoo. the setup window is just blank.

same problem here in 12.04. the facebook and gTalk are fine but the
yahoo avatars are intermitent, sometimes shows, sometimes not!
