Phew, it's a bit hard to grasp actually. My feeling of this list being inconsistent with the rest of Ubuntu mostly revolves around it being a multi-columned dropdown list with no way of choosing a manufacturer by beginning to type its name. Maybe we can work it out together. I can also do a moc
