Feisty, when ever I load on both Beryl and gDesklet's Starterbar through
"Sessions > Startup Programs", Beryl runs but gdesklets starterbar fails

The problem has existed for awhile. If I re-load ubuntu and reformat
the drive I usually don't experience it for a couple of months but in
this case it was a couple of days. I would question the machine but two
other machines in my household (running Edgy), experience the same thin
someone will solve this problem before it's to late.
(Thanks for letting me vent but what I have related is true). I thank
you once again for responding and I hope to hear from you the next time
something goes wrong.

The "Update Manager" told me there were 14 updates available. The list
included these problematic updates for totem-common and gnome-icon-
theme. So I tried to get all the updates. The problematic ones failed.
I think one of the other updates should have resulted in kernel 2.6.27
being placed on

Today the Update Manager informed me that 24 updates were available. I
started the Update Manager and deselected two of the updates: totem-
common, and gnome-icon-theme. These updates have been listed as
available for several days now and they have always failed before. I
