basically this has completely ruined my mail program - it is close to
unusable now - it also is bringing down duplicate mails - which has just
started happening - I am desperate for a work around please - I use the
for my work Evolution that is

above until I decided to wipe evolution - so I did a backup via "File"
and "Backup Settings" and backed up my mail - reopened Evolution to
check mail and.the bug has gone!

If I reboot the problem still exists. I have checked the preferences for
the pop3 accounts and they are all ok - it seems that even though I am
online that Evolution cannot connect to my isp accounts. The same system
that dual boots winxp pro an
Ludicrously this has fixed itself - I have no explanation as to how or
why, nothing that has occurred correlates with an explanation. Evolution
now works again. This can be closed. Thank you for your time.
