It has worked before. The problem seems sporadic. I've tried closing the
mounted WebDAV (https), and reopening in. I closed nautilus and that
didn't help either.

I have the webdav site saved as a bookmark in nautilus. I click on the
bookmark. I put my user/password. I can see files and browse in folders on the
webdav site. But, when I drag a folder to one of the folders in the bookmarked
folder list on the left side of nautilus, only an
I'm sorry but WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE JUST ADD THESE FIXES TO THE REPOS FOR
AUTOMATIC UPDATE. THIS IS REALLY OBNOXIOUS. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW
HOW TO ADD GSTREAMER PLUGINS. AND WHY SHOULD I? THE PROBLEM IS STILL
THERE IN JAUNTY AS OF SEPTEMBER 5 2009. WHEN WILL IT BE FIXED?

I liked the behavior of staying open until a second click to close it.
But I like Omer's suggestion in comment #11 too.
