Also had problem with alt-shift combinations set via region and language
settings. Solved it by: gnome-tweak-tool -> typing -> key(s) to change
layout -> disable

Fresh install of ubuntu gnome 13.04. When i try to connect to sftp location in
nautilus asks for password and offers several options. One of them "remember
forever". Next time when i need to connect to this location it asks for
password again. And so on.
I've upgraded to 13
I'm sorry may be it's my missunderstanding of nautilus functions.
If i use sftp://login:www.server.com and then save password system works
exactly as expected. next time i login to ubuntu and click the sftp
bookmark everything is just perfect.
I guess it's interface problem, not bug.

Have just checked left ctrl + left shift and it works again. My problem
with layout switching was directly related with "key(s) to change layout
-> disable". Maybe you should try logout & relogin.
My system: fresh install of ubuntu gnome 13.04 -> upgrade via "update-
manager -d" to 13.10 beta.

How i've troubleshoot my problem. After upgrade from 13.04 to 13.10 i've
noticed that if i press super + space layoyt indicator changes so does
input. En-Ru-En.
If i press alt-shift only indicator changes. but If i try to enter text
it's still english. after "key(s) to change layout -> disable" al

Maybe it's related problem but when there is no window focused keyboard
inicator doesn't show any changes after needed keys pressed. Hotkeys
like Ctrl-Alt-L also don't work. Couldn't reproduce it right now. But
i've seen this this morning. No software upgrades after. I'm on gnome
shell
