[Bug 130379] movie/visual effects screen turns black while playing a movie / song

Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem I'm using Ubuntu 7.04, Totem 2.18.1. I downloaded all the GStreamer plugins I could find, to watch MPEG and WMV files. Most of the times, I can see only the first frame or so of the movie, after that the screen turns black and there's only audio.
