I meant that when I entered some data (e.g. my email address), closed
the dialog and reopened it, all information was lost. I can't remember
if that was on livecd or installed system. On the installed system, it's
working now, I have to check first for live mode.

When trying to create a new appointment or a new task, evolution crashes
immediately. When I started evolution from commandline, I can see it

It's actually the appointment properties dialog which causes the
segfault. I get the same problem when I try to edit an existing
appointment, but I can make an appointment when I just write into the
calendar.
