3) Disable flight mode.
4) Turn bluetooth on (via the system settings or the indicator).
What happens:
Bluetooth doesn't work, the toggle in the indicator switches back to off

I think because Gtk is the main subject for causing the effect, this package
should also be referenced.
It might have to do with the fact that the newest Gtk update doesn't sue

team. The maintainer had some issues with the Elementary project and
they decided to continue the development under the name pantheon-files

Actually, I lied. It crashed when I clicked the Mail button to go to the
inbox. It started up in the contacts view.
I installed debugging symbols and launched it again (figured it's about
time since I've had two crashes today). Got some dialog saying it would
hide previews because it crashed last
.d/gdm start after the segfault
and try it again, it works as expected.

I can confirm this, I tried it with other pdfs as well, all resulted in
massive memory usage up to 450 MB memory for a 2 MB pdf while xpdf uses
less than 10 MB.

I had the same problem, the font size was too small in the terminal
(gnome-terminal as well as tilda) and the appearance settings, also OO
didn't start. The gconftool fix fixed it for me.

Ctrl+Backspace just one character is being deleted (^H). In normal Gtk+
applications this key combination deletes the previous word (Ctrl+W) in
Bash. There's also no way for Bash to distinguish between Ctrl+Backspace
With normal Gtk+ application I meant the input / text fields in Gtk+
applications.
